Covid-19 – Our Safety Measures

The safety of our customers and our staff is very important to us, and so we have made numerous changes, both to our superstores and to the way we operate.
Our superstores are very large, and so we have been able to implement one-way systems and easily put safe distancing measures into place. We have created various sanitiser ‘stations’ around the superstores, which include contactless dispensers. Our staff are trained in both the distancing and specialist hygiene requirements we have now implemented.

When you arrive at our superstores, you will note the clear signage and routes laid out in front of you. We would ask you to observe the 2m distancing at all times and to use the hand sanitiser we have provided, both upon entering our store and when leaving. We also have gloves available for you, if you would like to wear them.
We have various rigorous cleaning schedules in place, all carried out by specific nominated staff, so you can be assured that you are in safe hands. Our staff have full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) available to them, including masks and gloves, should you request this, or they feel this is required. We monitor the number of people in our stores closely, but thanks to the size of our superstores, we have plenty of space for you to safely browse the ranges.

When we deliver to you, be it delivery of a bed or fitting of flooring, we also have strict safety measures in place. We have cleaning processes in place for the vehicles as well as having full PPE for all drivers and fitters, including masks, gloves, overshoes and hand sanitiser. We ask that the property is clear of obstructions and doors open where possible as well as 2m distancing observed by you and your family. The whole process will be contactless. The normal customer service standards remain (date of choice, timeslots and so on). If you have any specific requirements, then we will be more than happy to discuss these with you directly.

We have implemented more than 240 changes to our superstores and to our processes to ensure that your safety and the safety of our staff is assured, and we would welcome any recommendations that you, our customers, may have.
